Evan aka "Maitreya" has been practicing Hatha Yoga since 2004
His practice began intensively at
Bikram Yoga Commercial Drive in Vancouver, BC under
the tutelage of Christian Betan-Cor Leon a dear friend, instructor
and studio owner. While living and working at the studio
he began a meditation practice and an ongoing study of
eastern philosophies and literature. He also mobilized
the local yogis and buisnesses and created a free soup kitchen
for local street people in need.

An ever committed karma yogi, Evan has consistently sought out to
serve for events at integral yoga, working in the kitchen, leading a retreat
and by offering his carpentry skills as work study to
various studios along his travels.

Evan soon was inspired to begin a teaching practice his CV is as follows:

2006 - Integral Yoga Basic TT
200hrs

2007 - Integral Yoga Intermediate TT
200hrs

Evan currently teaches private yoga and meditation classes.

Pirvate lesson prices are on a case by case basis and are very flexible.
